Getting Worse

Writer: Emily FolkerEmily Folker

It will happen.

You will have days where you feel like nothing will ever be okay again. Recovery is not a linear process. There are so many highs and lows.

However, the lows do not last forever, and one day they will not be as low as before. Please, do not give up just because you have an off day or feel like you haven’t made any progress. Every day that you are alive is progress.

If during your low moments, you ever need help, please reach out to someone. There are people that want to help you.
